Soils of 'Eua Island ,Kingdom of Tonga

The soils of 'Eua Island, Kingdom of Tonga, are described briefly in this report and are shown on the accompany soil map at a scale of 1:25000. The report discusses soil forming factors and gives a brief account of chemical and mineralogical analyyses of selected soils. The soils are classfied according to both the N.Z genetic classification and USDA soils Taxonomy, Finally, a brief account is given of soil limitations and potential for use.
