This checklist and bibliography provides a preliminary synthesis of the literature on insects and related arthropods of the Samoan Islands. It is a parallel product to the checklist and bibliography of Hawaiian insects and their relatives produced by Bishop Museum's Hawaii Biological Survey and it complements the catalog of Samoan nonmarine snails and slugs.
