Abstract

The Roundtable called for major actions in two major areas: "mainstreaming nature conservation into development policies, plans, legislation and budget processes at all levels; and recognizing that financial sustainability will require countries to look for ways to supplement international assistance with new national and local sources of support from both the private and public sectors.
