Abstract
Christmas Island is the world's largest coral atoll. An interview with Graig Wilson of the Kiribati Environment Unit is recorded who explains why birds and other animals choose this area as their habitat. Also covered is the Environmental Media Workshop funded by AIDAB now AUSAID, which focused on the importance of the environment with emphasis on the rainforests. Carolyn also speaks to Wes Ward (Information & Publications Officer for SPREP), who announces the SPREP Sea Turtle Art Competition winner and goes on to talk about the possitive effects of the art competition.
