Abstract
Coral Reefs provide a source of food for islanders. They form the basis of life in the Pacific. Many low lying islands exist because of the coral reefs. Today, our reefs are being dynamited, poisoned, overfished, used for development purposes, killed by sedimentation from mining, logging and farming, cut into building blocks, turned into rubbish dumps, and damaged in many other ways. Watch this video to learn about the coral reefs, how they are being damaged, and what we can do about it.
